Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis

Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) is an advanced health assessment used to evaluate mineral imbalances and toxicities in the body. These include 15 nutritional minerals such as calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium, copper, zinc and iron, as well as 14 additional elements and 8 toxic elements such as mercury, lead and aluminum.

With a true understanding of your body’s chemistry, one can effectively design a nutritional and detoxification program to safely and successfully address your health issues. Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis eliminates the guessing of what your body really needs for supplements and detoxification.

Children can also benefit from hair analysis, especially those struggling with learning disabilities, behavioral disorders or emotional disturbances. HTMA is a non-invasive and inexpensive method of determining such imbalances, most of which can be easily remedied by supplementing with the appropriate nutrients in the correct amounts and eating the proper foods.

Mineral deficiencies can contribute to many metabolic disorders in the body such as acidosis, arthritis, osteoporosis, high cholesterol, low thyroid, and blood sugar imbalances. Symptoms of toxic accumulation of heavy metals in the body, such as mercury and lead can range from mild brain fog and attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) to severe neurological, physical, and psychological disorders. HTMA is valuable to every individual and can be used to identify contributing factors to certain diseases or as a form of preventative medicine. Individuals who consume healthy foods and include supplements in their diet are often still deficient in many nutrients due to factors such as low stomach acid, poor digestion or interactions with other minerals or medications. Mineral imbalances can contribute to many symptoms including fatigue, stress, headaches, joint and muscle pain, digestive disturbances, menstrual irregularities, high blood pressure, weight imbalances, insomnia and skin disorders such as rashes, eczema and psoriasis.
